| The Library at Alexandria: Some 2,300 years ago, the library at Alexandria was the world's greatest center of learning. Today we know little about it. It is believed that a number of fires destroyed the library, including the books that had all been written by hand. These fires caused students and teachers to abandon Alexandria, the book depository and the 13 lecture halls that annexed it.
The Argington Alexandria Bench can be used with the Giza Table or alone. Tight fitted cushions made from canvas weight cotton can be purchased in various colors. Leg extensions can also be purchased for a growing child that increase the over height of the bench by 2". The Bench can support more than 250lbs, comfortably seats two.
