Blik Scad Rococo Pop Wall Decals
Designed exclusively for blik by the Spring 2007 intern group of the Working Class Studio division of the pioneering Savannah College of Art and Design, these decals showcase a spirited reference to Savannah flora and fauna, as well as the architectural details of the wrought ironwork and moldings found in the historic district.

It all started with a poem.

Well, sort of. It started with a huge white wall, a blank canvas, so to speak, that begged for a little drama. A poem was our source of inspiration and it took us weeks of trial and error to produce the graphics out of paper letters to fill the space to our specifications. We later turned to stencils, paint, masking tape, etc. blik is the culmination of 2 years worth of experimentation.

The Savannah College of Art and Design was founded in Savannah, Georgia in 1978. Its mission is to prepare talented students for careers in the visual and performing arts, design, the building arts, and the history of art and architecture and emphasizes learning through individual attention in a positively oriented environment. Today, with two locations in Georgia and one in France, as well as online programs, the college attracts students from all 50 states and more than 80 countries.
