Chilewich Custom floormats are made from the same durable woven vinyl material as the very popular standard sized floormats. Bound mats are recommended for heavy traffic commercial and retail environments and often times are desired simply for their visual appeal. The mats are durable, easy to maintain, easy to clean and are ideal for residential, commercial, retail and hospitality environments. The mats are available in most of the popular Chilewich patterns such as Basketweave, Bamboo, and Small and Big Stripe. Custom mats are currently unavailable in the Woodgrain patterns. The mats are available as:
- Unbound
- Self Bound (edges are folded in and sewn to self bind the mat)
- Half inch (1/2") Sunbrella® Brand Fabric Binding (half inch finished width)
- One inch (1") Sunbrella® Brand Fabric Binding (one inch finished width)
- One inch (1") Sunbrella® Brand Fabric Binding (one inch finished width)

Please Note that Mats larger than 6' in width
(the shorter side) will have a center seam parallel to the longer side. Mats wider than 12' will have two seams.
How To Order

- The price matrix will be displayed as a PDF file. Please print or save it for your reference and records
- Find the price of your mat in the matrix by rounding the mat dimensions to the next highest feet. For example if you wanted a mat 7' 8" long by 6'4" wide you would price your mat as upto 8' Long by upto 7' wide and select the price for the appropriate type of binding. So for example a 7'8" L x 6'4"W mat in a 1/2" (half inch) Sunbrella binding is priced at $792.
- Complete the required Options above. The following will guide you in selecting options to customize your mat
- select the weave/pattern you would like to order (swatches are available under the More Info tab)
- specify the exact length of the mat (up to 20 feet) in feet and inches format e.g. 9' 4" for 9 feet and 4 inches
- specify the exact width of the mat (up to 12 feet) in feet and inches format e.g. 6' 10" for 6 feet and 10 inches
- select the binding type for your mat
- select a color for your binding. If you selected Unbound or Self Bound please leave the selection as None. If you selected a Sunbrella binding please select the binding color (color swatches are available under the More Info tab)
- review your selections and if you are ready, add the item to your cart by clicking on the Add To Cart button
- You will be taken to the Shopping Cart page where you can review your order. Our system Does Not automatically price your mat with the selected options due to the complexity of the Custom Mats.
- You can either input the price as you have determined from the Chart above or let us update it when we process your Order and confirm all your selections. If you choose to input the price, please click on the Recalculate button to refresh the price.
- Proceed with the checkout process and enter shipping, billing, and payment information. Please note that your Credit Card will not be charged at this time and will only be charged when your Order ships.
- If the price you input during the checkout process is incorrect, this will be corrected and updated. In either case once your Order has been verified and processed, we will email you a completed Order with the final price for your approval with instructions on how to approve your Order.
- Please note that your Order and its price is only finalized and send for production once you explicitly approve the final Order emailed to you. Your order is final 48 hours after your approval and cannot be canceled or returned after that as it is a custom order
- If you are unsatisfied with the updated Order emailed to you for your approval for any reason, you can simply cancel the Order without any charge or obligation
- Please remember these custom mats take approximately 4-6 weeks to manufacture after we receive your approval. However your Credit Card will only be charged when your Order ships.
- Shipping is Free on all Custom Mat orders.
Chilewich also offers floormats in standard sizes. These standard size mats (2'2" x 3' , 3' x 4'4" , 4'4" x 6' , 2'2" x 6' , 2'2" x 9' , and 5'10" x 9') can be ordered from us online either as Unbound or with 1/2" Sunbrella Binding. Prices on Standard sized Unbound and 1/2" Sunbrella Mats are typically lower than Custom sized mats.
Please note that because Plynyl is woven, it has the characteristics of woven material. The natural bow and skew of the weaves show, especially at seams. Seams will be visible. Any natural variation in the color of the fabric is also the result of the weaving process.
* THIS IS A CUSTOM ORDER ITEM and will be made by the manufacturer per Customer selected options. Even though Mod Decor has a flexible and generous 30 day return policy, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for this Custom Order product. All changes/cancellations to the order must be made within 48 hours of your approval. After 48 hours the order is final and cannot be changed or cancelled. Please view our Shop with Confidence Return Policy for additional details.
Please Note that Custom Mats are not stocked and are considered custom orders. Please allow 4-6 weeks for this item to be manufactured.
