Product Details   The Droog Design Slow Glow lamp certainly wins awards for originality. Droog's Slow Glow Lamp was launched in its 12th presentation in Milan at the Salone del Mobile in 2004. The lamp is based on the concept of going slow. When the Fat Lamp is turned on, it slowly melts and gives more light. The lamp consists out of soy oil and melts by a small light-bulb that hangs directly in the oil, because soy isn't conductive. This process typically takes about 2 hours to completely melt. When turned off it becomes solid again. The lamp is as unique as they come, a great conversation piece, and ideal for ambient lighting.
