Gus* Design Group combines strong forms and supple fabrics to create cozy contemporary furniture.

 

The Gus* Modern collection is the creation of Industrial Designer David Podsiadlo, whose vision was to create a line of  contemporary furniture with an elegantly minimal design aesthetic. In 2000, the first collection was launched. The line included sofas and lighting pieces that were simply designed and impeccably made. The concept was well received, and before long the collection was being sold to prominent design retailers across the United States and Canada. Since then, the company has had its products featured in Metropolitan Home, The New York Times, The Oprah Winfrey Show and The Apprentice series, among others.
