The Flora Bench is part of the Botanist furniture collection from Orange22.

The Botanist series combines the precision of minimal honest design with the beauty and feminine touch of nature. Each piece starts with a single piece of aluminum, which is precisely cut, bent, and faced with either a high impact powder coat (indoor & outdoor use) or an epoxy coated real wood veneer (indoor use only).

 

happy indoors & out - The Flow and FLora series are ready for outdoor use; they employ an industrial grade powder coating on the aluminum structure, which naturally resists corrosion.
 

The Flora series features stunning floral pattern cut completely through the surface of each piece. The aluminum structure assures that the pieces are sturdy and remarkably light.

 

The Flora series uses the same durable powder coating as the Flow series, so these pieces are happy indoors and out.

 

tough powder coat - Our powder coating is tougher than any paint. The process applies plastic resin particles to each piece, which is then baked in an oven, creating a durable layer of plastic on the surface.

The colors are UV and weather resistant intended to be used oudoors. It's the toughest stuff that we could find, and we think it looks great too.

 

impossibly thin - The thin profile cleverly conceals the true strength and durability in each botanist piece.

worried about strength - Each piece is formed from quarter-inch aluminum alloy sheet, making it durable, yet lighter than you might expect. In addition, the cocktail table and bench are reinforced further with a sructural brace that is welded in place. Even the cocktail table can be used as occasional seating during an outdoor soiree or a loft party.

worried about water? Since Botonist pieces are powder-coated aluminum alloy construction, they are happy to live in a damp environment. We think they look particularly stunning in a garden or around the pool.

 

modern entertainment - Need a perfect place for yout entertainment system that has modern technology in mind? The bench can be used the hold your plasma TV and audio/visual equipment without the bulk to accomodate older technology. The structural brace has holes that can be used for cable to keep peasky wires off of the floor.
